DIY: Coin Jar

I don't know about you guys but I always have a ton of change on me and nowhere to put it. So it ends up at the bottom of my purse making it ten times heavier! Raise your hand if you hate that. Well I found a solution to this by recycling an old candle topper!

Supplies:
Candle topper (I used Yankee Candle topper)
Spray paint
Ribbon
Newspaper

Step One:
Flip lid upside down on some newspaper and apply two to three coats of the spray paint.

Step Two:
After the paint has dried, tie a ribbon around the "jar" and add your coins!

Think of this as your rainy day fund or in my case, the laundry fund! Have fun crafting!
