DIY: How To Make Your Own Modpodge Name Sign!

Over the weekend I decided to be a little crafty and made a "name sign" for my room.
Therefore, here are instructions on how to recreate my DIY project!

How To Make Your Own Modpodge Name Sign!
Supplies:
Three (or more) 8 x 10 white canvas boards
Three (or more) wooden letters that spell your initials, name, whatever you want
Six sheets of any design scrapbook paper
A bottle of Modpodge, either the gloss or matte kind *I used gloss*
Paintbrush
Ruler
Pencil
All the supplies you will need.

1)Take your white canvas boards and use the paintbrush to cover them with a thin layer of Modpodge.

2)Grab your background color scrapbook paper and use the paintbrush to cover it with a thin layer of Modpodge.
Covering the canvas with the scrapbook paper.
 3) Place the Modpodge'd scrapbook paper atop of the Modpodge'd canvas and wrap it around to the back creating a smooth foundation of color.

4)Use your paintbrush to coat your canvas (now covered with the scrapbook paper) with a thin layer of ModPodge.

This is what your canvas should look like after the top layer of ModPodge.

5)Take your second color scrapbook paper and began to cover your wooden letters. This is time consuming because you have to cut and fit the paper to the letters, but don't give up!
*If you are covering wooden letters, the paper will not fit perfectly. You will have to cut many small pieces and ModPodge them in all the nooks and crannies. Don't fret tho! When you are finished no one will be able to tell!*

6)Once each letter has been sufficiently covered with the scrapbook paper, take your paintbrush and paint a thin layer of ModPodge over each letter.
This is what your canvases and letters should look like after they have both been covered with their top layer of ModPodge.
7)After the canvases and letters are dried completely take your ruler to measure out how to place the letters evenly.

8)Use your paintbrush to ModPodge the back of your letters and place them on the canvas where you made your measurements.

9)Wait at least 2-3 hours for them to dry completely

10)Place your ModPodge name sign anywhere you desire!

Have fun crafting!
